New Terror Threat Landscape Requires Closer Sino-US Cooperation

Although China and U.S. still have different interpretations of terrorism, the global increase of terrorist threats should urge the two nations to cooperate on anti-terrorism measures and intelligence. The U.S. has verbally agreed to support China’s key anti-terrorist campaign: quelling the East Turkestan Islamist Movement (ETIM) in Xinjiang.
