South Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) have agreed to hold the second round of high-level talks on Friday at the border village of Panmunjeom, Seoul’s Unification Ministry said Thursday.
The two Koreas will hold the second dialogue between high- ranking officials at 10 a.m. local time Friday in the Peace House, an administrative building in the South Korean side of the truce village of Panmunjeom, according to the Unification Ministry.
Seoul and Pyongyang held the first senior-level talks in about seven years Wednesday, but five-member delegates from both sides ended the dialogue without any agreement.
The DPRK sent South Korea, at around midday, such notice of proposing another high-level dialogue through the liaison office in Panmunjeom.
