China disciplined 48 people, including the chairman of China’s largest refining company, for pipeline explosions that ripped through the city of Qingdao in November, killing 62 and leaving 136 more injured.
The State Council, or China’s cabinet, also said an additional 15 people would be handed over to investigators for prosecution for the deadly blasts, the official Xinhua news agency reported. It didn’t identify the 15 people.
