Signs of Resilience in China Labor Market Reduce Stimulus Chances

BEIJING—China’s labor market is showing signs of resilience, adding to evidence of a stabilizing economy and reducing the chances of a major stimulus effort.


The number of new job opportunities posted in July on Zhaopin.com—one of the country’s largest recruitment websites—was the second-largest in the site’s history, up 53% from a year earlier.
